A Very Merry Christmas

Here in the Hardenbergh household we are admist wrapping paper, Christmas cards, drool, twinkling lights, dirty diapers, Holiday music and happy squeals coming from either the excersaucer, Johnney Jump Up, the floor or the highchair. Ok, there is also some fussing, crying and did I say LOTS OF DROOL? Jonah is cutting his first tooth. We got a phone call from our daycare provider, Alyson today to say that he was cutting a tooth in his bottom gum. In fact, I haven't even seen it yet. But, there will be a picture taken of it and maybe even a blog if you're lucky. haa haa

This year Christmas is different. We have simplified things here in our house and we are just trying to slow things down and be with one another - oh, and try to get as much sleep as possible. :)

Jonah is doing al kinds of things now - rolling over, trying to sit up on his own, pushing us away (I don't like that as much), picking up things and playing, laughing lots, squealing and jibber jabbering, giving kisses, eating solid food and of course playing with his feet. The changing table is his favorite place to be. (I think it's because he likes to be naked - we are in so much trouble)

Our plans this Christmas is to go downstate to be the Hardenbergh family. We pray for good weather and good health for everyone. Please - help us out by praying as wel!!! Jonah will be in heaven...there will be lots of people to play with! Mama and Papa are boring after awhile. So, he likes lots of people - especially other kids to play with.

May the Christ Child bring you hope, peace and joy ---- just as Jonah has brought to our lives.

Merry Christmas.
Love,
Catherine, Rob and Jonah
