Playing above the squirrel

Ok - so we still haven't caught the squirrel (it's 48hrs since it was discovered). But, that doesn't stop Jonah from having a great time with his toys. As he was playing you could hear the squirrel downstairs. It's creepy - but Jonah doesn't know there's anything up. So - its playing as usual!

We bought him a little musical toy last weekend that he just loves! He was listening to the music and singing along with it. Of course when I started filming him he stopped singing and just stared blankly at the camera. haa haa He's also trying to make noises by running his hand over his mouth and making sounds. So - luckily I caught him starting to do that.

PS... today - we're going to try to "flush" out our pet downstairs and then Dennis is going to shoot him to make sure he doesn't come back. Awh, the UP!

SQUIRREL!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, so this is just so blog worthy. Nevermind I'm freaking out as I type it - but I have to do something besides sitting and listening and being grossed out!

This morning I kept hearing things. Banging, movement, etc.. I just thought maybe it was ice on the roof or I was hearing things. Well, all of a sudden I hear a big bang. So, I open up the basement door and I see this big grey squirrel looking at me! OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!

Somehow it got in our basement - we're thinking through the chimney. So - Rob's coming home to put out a live trap. UGH>>>>> i'm so grossed out! I gotta get out of here!

Jonah is TRYING to take a nap. But, every time he falls asleep the squirrel bangs something. Uh, I gotta go! PRAY!!!!!!!!
